Michael S. Ziebelman, M.D., Director of CMC Orthopedics, specializes in orthopedic and spinal surgery. Dr. Ziebelman is certified with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He received his medical education from Temple University School of Medicine and completed his residency at The University of Florida. Dr. Ziebelman is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, and the Florida Orthopedic Society.

Naveed Shafi M.D., CMC Orthopedic Evaluation and Treatment, specializes in all outpatient orthopedics, back pain evaluation, pain management, and occupational and traumatic injury rehabilitation. Dr. Shafi is certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine with added qualifications in Primary Care Sports Medicine. He received his medical education from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his residency at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Shafi then went on to complete his fellowship at The University of South Carolina. He is a member of the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine, and the American Association of Medical Review Officers.

Samuel Mendez, Physician Assistant, CMC, approaches his practice of medicine with the goal of “making man whole.” He is certified as a physician assistant, as well as in Advanced Pediatric Life Support and Adult CPR. Mr. Mendez is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. He was Valedictorian of his Physican Assistant program and graduated Cum Laude from Loma Linda University with a Bachelor of Health Science.
